Why custom samples cost money — and when they are free

One of the first questions buyers ask us: is the sample really free?

The honest answer: a stock sample is free, a custom sample usually is not.

A stock sample is a bag already produced in our factory. We send it to you and you only pay the courier cost. This is enough to judge fabric weight, stitching and print quality.

A custom (pre-production) sample carries your own logo, size and fabric. Real costs occur before it is made: preparing the printing screen or plate, setting the machine up for a single bag, and sewing one piece outside the batch. That is genuine labor and material, not a fee for its own sake.

In most cases we credit the sample fee back when your bulk order is confirmed. Ask us on WhatsApp for the exact terms for your project.

Whatever you choose, one rule never changes: we do not start bulk production before you approve the sample. What you approve is what you receive.
