Why some printed logos fade โ€” and how we prevent it

Buyers sometimes arrive with a bad experience: a bag whose logo cracked or faded after a few uses. It is a real problem, and it has real causes.

Cause one: ink not matched to the fabric. Non-woven polypropylene needs inks formulated for it; a generic ink can look fine on day one and fail after folding and rubbing.

Cause two: under-cured printing. Screen ink must be properly dried and cured as it runs; rushing this step softens every color on the bag.

Cause three: unrealistic expectations โ€” a single-pass print on a bag carried daily under friction will always age. For heavy reuse, a laminated bag protects the artwork under a film surface.

How we prevent it: we match ink to fabric and printing method, run the press at correct speed and temperature for proper curing, and inspect the print before sewing, not just after.

For critical projects, ask for a pre-production sample and test it yourself โ€” rub it, fold it, load it. Stock samples are free and you only pay the courier.
